If you’re like thousands of Hunterdon County and Greater NJ residents, you are spending countless hours at home during the coronavirus pandemic. While your family is increasingly reliant on home technology for telecommuting, distance learning and household productivity, Maglio Electric is here to support you. Trust our licensed electricians for safe, dependable electrical repairs, back-up generator maintenance and other critical home/business services during COVID-19.

Please Note Our Temporary Service Changes

To protect our customers and employees from coronavirus transmission, we have amended our business operations to reflect the following changes. We will continue to update these details as the COVID-19 situation evolves, and you can access the most updated information on our Maglio Electric Facebook page.

  • At this time, our NJ electricians are not providing new, on-site project estimates. We are happy to discuss your upcoming project over the phone (908.735.6218), and we will plan your installation for a time when Hunterdon County businesses return to regular operation.
  • Since most municipalities are not conducting business as usual during COVID-19, Maglio Electric is unable to perform new installations requiring electrical permits or inspections. We will keep you updated if this changes in coming weeks.

Maglio Electric’s current services include:

Please note: If parts are required for your electrical repair or generator service, we will do our best to acquire them in a timely manner. We have many parts available at our Hunterdon County facility, but some of our nation’s supply lines have been disrupted during the virus. We are working with vendors to access all parts quickly and efficiently, and we appreciate your patience.

Operational Changes During COVID-19

In response to the pandemic and Governor Murphy’s stay-at-home proclamation, the Maglio Electric team is implementing these operational changes:

  • Instructing employees to remain at home if they are ill or have sick family members.
  • Taking necessary sanitization and social distancing precautions while visiting your home.
  • Limiting office hours and adjusting employee schedules to minimize employee contact.
  • Working from home when possible.
  • Completing electrical repairs and generator maintenance using “non-contact” protocols. Most services can be scheduled by phone and do not require customer interaction at your home or job site.
  • Closely monitoring phones during business hours. Please leave a message and we will respond promptly!
